This year, Pittsburgh Wine Festival proceeds will proudly benefit PIND, or, the Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases. An Institute at the University of Pittsburgh, PIND takes an interdisciplinary approach to study neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS.

The center brings together research from many departments, and is designed to integrate disciplines and methods to efficiently uncover and treat the root of neurodegenerative diseases. Their research has led to cutting-edge breakthroughs in treating and curing neurodegenerative diseases.
