The Pittsburgh Wine Festival is back for its 15th extraordinary year, this coming Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at Heinz Field. Come celebrate the artistry of winemakers from around the globe with more than 530+ wines to choose from.
2017 will bring some big changes to the 15th iteration of the region’s most impressive wine event.
We’ve revised the WINERY WEB LIST 2017 to emphasize the quality of our wines. This year will see the return of some of the world’s most valued brands. Luminaries such as Château Montelena, Château Lynch Bages, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Silver Oak and Heitz are just a few of the superstars to re-enter the tastings. Also on hand will be a roster of industry standouts like Gaja, Antinori and Cakebread (For a complete listing of the attending wineries and wines, click HERE).
Returning this year are a lineup of tasting seminars developed to inform, entertain and enhance your love of great wine. The topics and times are still in development will be announced shortly.
For those who are new to the event, you are going to want to download and research our wine guide to plan your attack. It’s helpful to prioritize your sampling to maximize the experience. The full 2017 Pittsburgh Wine Festival Wine Guide will be available about a month prior to the event.
Also included in the ticket price is a newly revised menu from which to sample, so please don’t forget to take a few moments to partake. You’ll thank us later.
See you all on May 4th
