Here is a unique opportunity that cannot be rivaled. You can be the proud owner of a barrel of one-of-a-kind 2004 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (5% Merlot). The barrel will yield 20 cases of wine and the winner will have the opportunity to customize the bottling into preferred sizes (1.5 L and/or 3L bottles). The choice wine was personally selected by Jonathan Newman, Wine Enthusiast Man of the Year, during a sampling of St. Superys highest quality barrels in the aging cellar at the winery. The wine is an intense and powerful Cabernet with vibrant concentrated aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry that shows off exotic spicy fragrances. The complex palate is ripe, rich and plush with intriguing flavors of blackberry, currant and mocha. While the tannins are firm, this wine delivers plenty of fruit in the finish.
