Welcome from Ed and Dale

The Pittsburgh Wine Festival is back again for it’s 14th extraordinary year, this coming Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at Heinz Field. Come help celebrate the artistry of winemakers from around the globe with more than 500 wines to choose from. California? No problem. Italy? Covered. South Africa? Got it.

Are you an experienced collector with an impressive cellar? The VIP Tasting is the ticket for you. Special reserve wines are poured during the VIP Tasting from 5-7 PM that will unavailable during the Grand Tasting. Also, the limited number of people (850) with access to the VIP Tasting allow for reflection and conversation with the winery representative at each table.

Are you a newly indoctrinated wine connoisseur? No problem, the Grand Tasting (7-9 PM) is the perfect way to start. You’ll find hundreds of wines to choose from, and have the ability to build your palette and your knowledge base as you move through the room.

For those who are new to the event, we’ve split the sampling into two distinct areas, offering one entire club lounge for international wines and another club lounge for domestic wines. You are going to want to download and research our wine guide to plan your attack. It’s helpful to prioritize your sampling to maximize the experience. The 2016 Pittsburgh Wine Festival Wine Guide will be available here, starting about a month prior to the event. Please check back for details. The guide will be available as a PDF.

Also included in the ticket price is a newly revised menu from which to sample, so please don’t forget to take a few moments to partake. You’ll thank us later.

See you all on May 5th

Cheers,

Dale & Ed
