Grand Opening
of new wine superstore:
On Friday, May 2, at noon, the PLCB will host the Grand Opening of
its Waterworks, Fox Chapel, Superstore, featuring 10,500 square feet
of space and projected to carry over 5,500 items, including approximitely
1,200 fine wines and unique specialty items. |

VIP Tasting:
Location – Heinz Field, entrance at Gate B
The event opens with this exclusive reception for the 200 ticket holders,
an opportunity to enjoy the premiere sampling of the participating
wineries. The event has been designed to deliver a world-class evening
boasting over 65 foreign and domestic vintners. Ticket-holders will
receive a wine glass upon admission to the event and can sample the
wines of their choice until 9pm. Hors d'ouevres will be served throughout
the evening for a classic compliment to the prestigious wine available.

Public Reception:
Location – Heinz Field, entrance at Gate B
At this time in the evening, 800 other guests will be able to participate
in the festivities already in progress. The Pittsburgh Wine
Festival auction will also be taking place during this time. |

Relaxation Hour:
Following the wine tasting at nine o'clock, coffee, tea and pastries
will be served and guests are encouraged to relax as the evening comes
to an end.

Local, distinguished
restaurants will each be paired with a participating vintner. The event
will include a multi-course dinner with several wines being offered throughout
the evening to compliment the dishes served.
